About The Position

We are seeking skilled IT, Smart Home, and Low Voltage Technicians to join our nationwide team. This temporary contract position involves providing exceptional service in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of smart home systems and low voltage solutions. Technicians will work on various tasks, including setting up Wi-Fi networks, mounting TVs, and installing security systems, all while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT, smart home systems, low voltage installations, or related fields.
• Proficient in the installation and maintenance of systems in at least one of the following areas: smart home, security, networks, or audio/video systems.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment required for the role.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Must own or have access to basic tools required for the role (e.g., cable testers, drills, multimeters).
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel nationwide.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco CCNA, CEDIA, Alarm.com, AVIXA CTS, or other relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot smart home systems, including thermostats, video doorbells, garage doors, hubs, and speakers.
• Set up and maintain Wi-Fi networks, routers, and in-wall cabling.
• Mount and secure TVs of various sizes, including in-wall concealment of wires.
• Install and service audio/video systems, home theaters, and gaming console setups.
• Configure and repair computers, printers, and mobile devices.
• Install and maintain home security systems, including cameras, locks, and alarm systems.
• Perform general handyman tasks such as wall hanging, light bulb changing, and furniture assembly.
• Ensure quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction.
