About The Position

SunPlus Data Group is seeking a PMP Certified IT Project Manager to lead a Change Management project in the Higher Education sector, specifically for Macomb Community College. This role involves managing and implementing Business Process Review (BPR) recommendations and overseeing IT-related projects. The position is hybrid, requiring three days onsite and two days remote work, and is expected to last for one year with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Requirements

• PMP or related certification.
• 5-7 years' experience as a project manager.
• Experience in IT related technical projects.
• Experience in Business Process Reviews (BPR).
• Experience in Change Management, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training impact.
• 1 year of experience working in a Higher Education environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Project, Web Project, or Planner as project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of business process review recommendations.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure resource availability.
• Monitor resource utilization and adjust as necessary to meet project goals.
• Enforce project management standards and ensure project deliverables meet these standards.
• Manage IT-related technical projects, coordinating with IT teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and execute change management strategies, managing organizational change and stakeholder engagement.
• Identify key stakeholders and develop engagement plans, conducting regular meetings and providing updates.
• Prepare regular project status reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
