About the position
Coactive is seeking a dedicated and experienced IT administrator to join their team. As the first full-time IT team member, this role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's growth in terms of personnel and technological advancements. The IT administrator will be responsible for creating and implementing processes and technologies to uphold the company's IT infrastructure, including asset management, data security, and access management. They will also be involved in enhancing onboarding and offboarding procedures, managing assets and procurement processes, and overseeing physical endpoint management. Collaboration with essential departments across the organization is required to collect stakeholder requirements and define the scope of vital projects.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the creation and implementation of processes and technologies to uphold the IT infrastructure
- Construct based on NIST frameworks, including asset management, data security, and access management
- Provide business impact relating to initiatives such as achieving SOC2 Type 2 certification and ensuring compliance with regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and similar requirements
- Enhance onboarding and offboarding procedures along with automated setups
- Assess, upgrade, and implement solutions aligned with business requirements
- Manage assets and procurement processes
- Tackle technology challenges and provide workarounds and resolutions
- Oversee physical endpoint management
- Monitor systems and conduct preventive maintenance
- Establish an end-user knowledge base to facilitate efficient troubleshooting opportunities
- Collaborate with essential departments across the organization to collect stakeholder requirements and define the scope of vital projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Extensive understanding of Corporate SaaS
- 5+ years of hands-on involvement in a senior IT support, administrator, or operations Engineer role
- Proficiency in practical network topology design, configuration, and issue resolution, along with a solid grasp of firewall best practices
- Preferred background in G-Suite management, Mac setup, and supervision, and experience in deploying and managing MDM solutions
- Familiarity with cloud environments e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure, DevOps & SecOps experience is a plus
- Outstanding written and verbal communication aptitude
