About The Position

The Intervention Specialist at LLA Therapy plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality educational and therapeutic services to children in various settings, including ABA and therapy clinics. This position focuses on evaluating children's needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with families and staff to ensure effective intervention and support for each child's unique learning profile.

Requirements

  • Intervention Specialist license or ability to obtain a supplemental Intervention Specialist license.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Ohio Department of Education certification (can be completed upon hire).
  • Experience with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and autism preferred.
  • FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire).
  • Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body.
  • Positive and goal-oriented attitude, willing to accept new challenges and work well with others.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on teamwork and customer service.
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations.
  • Compatible with company culture and core values.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality and dynamic lessons across educational settings including ABA and therapy clinics.
  • Evaluate children to gather information necessary for intervention planning and instructional development.
  • Review comprehensive evaluation reports, data, and academic/clinical samples.
  • Administer skills assessments for baseline documentation.
  • Integrate visual, auditory, and motor processing with an understanding of the English language structure.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and materials tailored to each student's learning profile.
  • Document, monitor, and analyze student progress and treatment effects.
  • Consult and collaborate with families and other staff within the school setting.
  • Create and submit all reporting with accurate recommendations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organization and structure with changes in treatment plans and materials.
