About The Position

Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is seeking a Power Electronics Intern to assist with design and engineering activities related to variable frequency drives and reduced voltage soft starts. The intern will work within a collaborative team environment, leveraging state-of-the-art tools and facilities to contribute to the development of next-generation power electronics products.

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design, simulation, implementation, and verification of power electronics related to the division's next generation products.
  • Work on power electronics designs including inverters, converters, switched mode power supplies, filters, and interface control circuitry.
  • Collaborate with other power electronics engineers and experts from Eaton's research labs and power electronics center of excellence.
  • Utilize Eaton's processes and state-of-the-art tools such as dynes, power meters, oscilloscopes, and EMC equipment.

Benefits

  • Hourly rate of $27.00 - $35.00 per hour based on skills and experience.
