About The Position

The MLB Sponsorship group is looking for an organized and detailed oriented sports business professional to join our fast paced, energetic team. This individual will work among the team responsible for managing our day-to-day partnerships and activations across MLB International properties and events. This individual will play a key role in supporting the management and execution of partnerships and activations across MLB International properties and events, while also leading administrative tasks for the International Partnership team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented and passionate about delivering exceptional sponsorship experiences on a global scale.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in client management and / or sports marketing
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish at a business-proficient level
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities across multiple accounts
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to learn and operate internal systems used for Partner management
• Must be culturally aware and open minded

Nice To Haves

• International experience preferred, but not required
• PowerPoint for creating compelling year-end partnership recaps and presentations

Responsibilities

• Support with the execution of Sponsored programs and events across the MLB International platforms - On Site, Digital, Social, Linear.
• Assist in the coordination of on-site activations, including hospitality, community events, product integrations, content, and commercial shoots, at various MLB International Events throughout the year. International travel will be required.
• Support in the onboarding of new partners including coordinating press release and partnership announcements, setting-up access to MLB approval system and style guide, introductions to key internal MLB departments.
• Organize, attend, and coordinate various client and agency-facing meetings with the purpose of building and maintaining relationships as well as planning programming and events.
• Maintain ongoing contractual obligations and status lists both internally and externally to help collective teams remain organized and accountable.
• Monitoring of all International partner sponsored programs and implementing optimizations when needed.
• Work closely with the Global Partnership Sales teams on overall account management, continuous relationship building, managing contractual delivery and prep for renewal discussions.
• Work closely with relevant internal departments on League wide initiatives to provide resources and partner support such Marketing, Special Events, Ballpark Operations, Security and Community/ DE&I.
• Attend various internal and external meetings on a weekly basis - virtual and in person. Select travel to partner events, meetings, and content shoots.
• Review Insight submissions (MLB approval system), which include all creative assets from Corporate Partners that include MLB IP, and route to any necessary groups for approval/feedback.
• Ensure that the department share drive is updated and actualized ensuring access to important information for everyone on the International Sponsorship team.
