About the position

This position is based in our Buford, GA fabrication facility and will report to the Regional Fabrication Manager. The role involves managing accounts by collaborating with customers, providing consistent feedback, and updating planners as needed. You will work with scheduling to drive production by entering works orders, entering sales orders, and maintaining demand plans. It is essential to ensure that demand within the ERP system is giving scheduling accurate representations of long-term demand. You will allocate completed tags to orders as they become ready for shipment, request part creation in the ERP system as new parts are awarded, and enter claims in the ERP system as they are created for customers. Additionally, managing vendor relationships and stock levels for purchased components is a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in metals fabrication/quoting
  • Strong customer service and sales aptitude
  • Desire to build client relationships and increase sales knowledge/experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment while managing individual goals and objectives
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse community
  • High energy and drive
  • Strong business and data analysis skills
  • Excellent prioritization, organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge with Microsoft Suite, most notably Excel and Office
