About The Position

Provide management and oversight to the team of Inside Sales Representatives (ISR's). This position will ensure that orders received are in compliance with customer contractual agreements, mill capacity, and entered correctly into SAP by the ISR team. This position will also be the primary contact point between Sales and Supply Chain to understand production limitations and guide the ISR team in adjusting orders to meet those limitations with guidance from the Can Sheet Sales Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or demonstrated work experience
  • 5-7 years' experience in an area of Sales & Marketing (Preferred in Aluminum Industry)
  • Ability to document details in a process
  • Apply existing processes and procedures to solve problems and may receive guidance for problems that are non-routine
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Quick learner and capable of multitasking and asking questions
  • Highly motivated, organized, reliable, and detailed oriented
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Business Strategy Minded
  • Effective Communicator - Knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Analytical Minded
  • Self-motivated (able to lead and complete projects without being micromanaged)
  • Strong attention to detail is a must
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Muscle Shoals Inside Sales Team
  • Review customer demand daily with the Supply Chain and ISR team to ensure orders are in line with constrained forecasts
  • Create relationships with contacts at all customers
  • Work with Can Sheet Sales Managers to ensure demand is in accordance with contracts as well as current capacity constraints
  • Institute weekly demand reviews with customers and inside sales team
  • Manage finished goods inventory position and disposition
  • Monitor customer trial and qualification process
  • Optimize, review, and approve SOPs for the inside sales team
  • Other duties as assigned
