In this role, you will develop short/mid/long-term industry/segment forecasts and conduct detailed market share analysis. You will be responsible for conducting a monthly sales gap analysis (PDCA) to determine the root cause of sales shortfalls and develop a clear explanation and narrative for Executives. Recommend supply requirements considering sales plan and production capabilities and set appropriate inventory levels to support the retail sales plan. Additionally, this position is responsible for the development and collection of necessary slides for the N.A. Seihan presentation. This presentation is presented to the CEO every month. It clearly and succinctly explains current issues and AHM's proposed sales and production changes.

  • Leverage findings to improve the accuracy of sales and production plans.
  • Leverage findings to explain shortfalls and improve sales plan attainment for future months.
  • Recommend supply requirements considering sales plan and production capabilities and set appropriate inventory levels to support the retail sales plan.
  • Conduct sales gap analysis (PDCA) for all models by completing thorough variance analysis to identify root cause of sales shortfall and provide high-level recommendation on sales volume recovery plan.
  • Identify potential sales and production plan risk and provide recommendations to mitigate risk.
  • Coordinate with National Sales to determine the appropriate months to recover any lost sales.
  • Collaborate with National Sales teams to understand sales and incentive strategy to assist with Seihan sales planning and forecasting.
  • BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar degree preferred.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • 10-15 years of experience in a business environment requiring strong analytical, communication, people, organizational, and project management skills.
  • First-hand working knowledge and experience with Ki Plan and Niguri (unit flows), Mid-Term Plan, SED flow, vehicle supply chain, forecasting, ordering, and allocation process preferred.
  • Working knowledge of S&PP and Seihan operations and experience in managing large, complex projects is a plus.
  • Must have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to develop and manage complex Excel worksheets and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Must have strong presentation skills and be able to explain detailed plans to management.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is required.
  • Business Objects knowledge is a plus.
