About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Requirements

• Valid armed security officer certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
• Proficiency in conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
• Ability to operate CCTV systems and other security technology proficiently.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or irregularities.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration with team members.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Customer service experience of 2 years is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
• Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to maintain vigilance over designated areas.
• Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when needed to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions or issues immediately.
• Implement loss prevention measures to protect property and assets effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with company policies.
• Provide assistance in emergency situations by administering CPR and First Aid as required.
