About The Position
The HVAC Startup and Commissioning Technician plays a crucial role in validating the accurate installation of HVAC equipment on Controlled Air projects. This role involves coordinating startup, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring the proper functioning of the equipment. The Technician offers technical support to Operations and Project Managers, actively participating in project planning and scheduling. The company goal is to ensure superior equipment installation and proper operation serves as an opportunity to identify and correct problems before they negatively impact the successful and profitable completion of a project. The technician has responsibility for establishing the routine checks during installation and scheduling start, test, and commissioning to ensure that projects are complete on time and to company quality standards. The Technician is also responsible for identifying pending problems, developing solutions, and scheduling and completing work as coordinated with the Project Manager.
