About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist at Atrium Hospitality plays a crucial role in supporting the HR office and assisting associates with various HR-related matters. This position is responsible for promoting the company's culture and core values while managing talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance with HR policies. The HR Generalist will facilitate a professional and efficient HR environment, ensuring that associates receive timely support and resources to enhance their work experience.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Human Resources or Administrative/office experience.
  • 2 years of prior customer service experience.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of hospitality industry experience.
  • 2 years of prior recruiting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or combination of experience and education.
  • HR professional certification completed or in process.
  • Workday experience.
  • Preferred bilingual based on market specific need.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate an orderly and efficient HR office environment that provides timely, courteous, and professional support to associates, guests, and candidates.
  • Support the talent acquisition process by posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and processing offers.
  • Complete management reference checks and assist with candidate outreach, including job fairs.
  • Maintain thorough employment records and compliance requirements through Workday administration.
  • Administer pre-hire checks, onboarding new hires, and managing terminations and administrative changes.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and brand training presentations.
  • Monitor and track safety topics and ensure OSHA log compliance in partnership with the GM and leadership team.
  • Act as the property contact for associate concerns regarding benefits and administer leave management.
  • Notify HR Director and/or GM of significant associate issues and assist with investigations as needed.
  • Facilitate integration of HR programs, policies, and procedures through presentations and meetings.
