About The Position
The Town of Apex, NC invites applications for the position of Human Resources Director (HR Director). This role is critical within the Town Manager's leadership team and involves managing a complex array of employment services, including recruitment and retention, succession planning, performance management, workplace safety standards, employee well-being programs, training and development, and compensation and benefits. The HR Director will play a key role in navigating the Town's rapid growth and evolving workforce, requiring excellent communication and strategic thinking skills to build morale and develop a cohesive, high-performing HR staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and initiatives, as well as a departmental strategic plan to align with the Town's goals and future growth. The ideal candidate will contribute to fostering a positive work environment that encourages engagement, retention, and overall employee satisfaction.
