About the position
The HR Business Partner will provide functional support for all human resources activities at the location, serving as a strategic partner to local site leadership. They will be responsible for driving business performance, talent and performance management, retention, and workforce planning. The role will involve handling the entire employee life cycle, acting as a single point of contact for employees, applicants, and leadership, and implementing changes to cover risks. Additionally, the HR Business Partner will be involved in recruitment, onboarding, training and development, payroll support, talent acquisition, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Handle the entire employee life cycle, including employee issues, termination, and disciplinary procedures
- Act as a single point of contact for employees, applicants, and leadership, answering questions and providing support while conforming to Labor Laws
- Identify gaps, propose changes, and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with HR Director
- Collaborate with local site leaders to drive business performance and create innovative solutions
- Recruit the general labor group for the site and utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track and correspond with candidates
- Schedule interviews, request temp employees, and manage onboarding processes
- Conduct new hire orientation and ensure completion of 30/60/90-day reviews
- Assist in training, development, and support of employees
- Maintain employee personnel files and protect confidential information
- Support HR Director with payroll/paycheck issues and questions
- Partner with site leaders and Talent Team to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies
- Support investigations and administer processes in compliance with legal requirements and government regulations
- Gather and analyze data related to absenteeism and turnover for process improvement.
