About The Position

The HR Administrator is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the human resources department's administrative activities in Springfield, MO, and surrounding areas. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two or more years of experience in human resources preferred.
  • Experience with recruitment and HR administration strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a construction environment preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
  • Bilingual highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Human Resources Generalist with the hourly hiring process, including job postings and offer letter preparation.
  • Coordinate drug screenings, background checks, and conduct new hire orientations.
  • Ensure proper paperwork is completed and forwarded to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain an electronic database of human resources forms.
  • Assist with administrative responsibilities and special projects, including data compilation and report preparation.
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute reports as requested by management.
  • Assist with required training preparation, review, and distribution.
  • Maintain corporate policies and procedures and electronic databases.
  • Process employee terminations, including entry and routing of paperwork.
  • Partner with Safety to meet and distribute new hire DOT requirements.
  • Maintain adequate supply of human resources forms, including employee handbooks and applications.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in dealing with confidential information.
  • Complete project work as assigned.
