The position involves assisting the General Manager and Assistant Manager in the daily operation of the restaurant while adhering to the budget. The role requires ensuring compliance with established food standards, food quality, preparation, and production by following corporate food handling procedures and policies. The individual will be responsible for training and counseling hourly team members during their shifts, guaranteeing the highest level of hospitality and service to all guests at all times, and coaching team members as needed. Additionally, the position includes maintaining compliance with personnel records, team member schedules, and reports, as well as preparing and maintaining administrative and financial records as directed by the General Manager. The individual will also ensure that specials, promotions, and marketing plans are presented according to company procedures during their shift, maintain hours of operation, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation procedures and regulations. Decision-making regarding team member assignments, disciplinary actions, and shift operations will be part of the responsibilities, while deferring certain decisions to the General Manager or Assistant Manager as necessary.
