About The Position
The Heavy Equipment Operator - Distribution position involves operating a variety of light to heavy construction and commercial equipment and vehicles used in the installation, repair, and maintenance of the District's distribution mains, service line laterals, and related appurtenances. The operator ensures the safety of crew members and the public at job sites during the operation of equipment, in accordance with all applicable safety and environmental protection rules, standards, policies, and procedures. The role includes assisting and potentially serving as a crew leader, and performing related duties as assigned.
