About the position
The job overview for this position is that the Product Architecture Leader will be responsible for defining and driving the adoption of the long-term architecture at Accruent. They will lead the evaluation and selection of new technologies, drive scalability and performance of the platforms, and communicate design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a strong technology background, experience in building large-scale distributed systems, and the ability to lead and influence culture change. This is a remote work opportunity with some travel required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the technology roadmap, considering emerging technologies, customer needs, and business objectives.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools for the platform.
- Lead a team of senior architects and provide technical expertise across the organization.
- Drive culture change and foster a strong customer focus mindset within the team.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, efficiency, resiliency, and security of the platforms.
- Communicate design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary voice of the architecture strategy and communicate decisions and tradeoffs to all stakeholders.
- Demonstrate Accruent and Fortive's values consistently.
- Bring 10+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems and applications, including architecture, design, development, and performance tuning.
- Have 5+ years of people leadership experience with a global dispersed team.
- Demonstrate experience in architecting, building, and operating distributed large-scale, high-volume, and highly available software systems on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Establish technical vision and architecture within successful companies.
- Have experience in Big Data Analytics and unlocking value from historic data.
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas to various audiences.
- Merger & Acquisition experience is highly preferred.
- Be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
- Be available for full-time, exempt work.
- Not require relocation.

- Offer a salary range of $137,600-$255,600 with eligibility for a bonus.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems and applications, including architecture, design, development, and performance tuning.
- 5+ years people leadership experience with global dispersed team.
- Demonstrated experience architecting, building, and operating distributed large scale, high-volume and highly available software systems on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Demonstrated experience creating and establishing technical vision and architecture within successful companies.
- Experience in Big Data Analytics and the ability to unlock value from historic data.
- Strong communication skills. Proven ability to ask the tough questions, listen, facilitate, and present complex ideas to groups large and small and any audience.
- Merger & Acquisition experience is highly preferred.
- This position will require some travel domestically and internationally.
- This is a full-time, exempt opportunity.
