About the position
Reforge is seeking a visionary operator to oversee their marketing function and drive growth for their learning and development platform. The ideal candidate will have a natural inclination towards growth, product marketing, and content creation. They will be responsible for expanding Reforge's reach through various media platforms and collaborating with operator creators. Additionally, the Head of Marketing will play a crucial role in setting the vision and strategy for Reforge Media, as well as owning revenue targets for their Courses and Teams business lines.
Responsibilities
- Grow Reforge Media to become a significant part of Reforge’s acquisition flywheel
- Establish short-term and long-term goals for the team and ensuring they ladder up to the company's broader needs
- Consistently recruiting A players to join Reforge
- Coach and develop the marketing team, ensuring the team has a clear vision, is motivated to achieve our goals, and is held accountable for our ambitious targets
- Lead Reforge Media to create fast growing, cohesive media products across our product, newsletter, blog, podcast, and video platforms
- Establish collaborations with leading operator creators to broaden the reach of our business
- Manage budget to ensure that we are properly supporting all of our products and growing our business efficiently
- Own revenue + demand targets for our Courses and Teams business lines
- Own and oversee all product launches + user communications
- Positioning Reforge’s product offering to be differentiated and communicate clear value to prospects, users, and customers
Requirements
- Experience in growth, product marketing, and content creation
- Ability to accelerate growth through storytelling and sharing learnings
- Familiarity with long form content and word-of-mouth marketing
- Proficiency in modern media platforms such as podcasts, newsletters, YouTube, and social media sites
- Strong focus on media and acquisition
- Ownership of revenue targets for Courses and Teams lines of business
- Collaboration with operator creators to expand business reach
- Leadership skills in inspiring teams and developing innovative media products
- Recruitment of high-performing individuals
- Coaching and development of marketing team
