About The Position

The Wright Institute is seeking a Half-time or Full-time Tenure Track Institute Faculty member for its Clinical PsyD Psychology Program. This position involves teaching graduate-level courses, mentoring students, and participating in program governance. Faculty members are expected to foster an inclusive learning environment and engage in professional development while maintaining a commitment to the integration of science and practice in psychology.

Requirements

• A health service psychology doctoral degree (Clinical, Counseling, School or Combined).
• Demonstrated experience in teaching at the graduate level with emphasis on clinical expertise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in research relevant to clinical psychology instruction.
• Familiarity with diverse teaching methodologies and assessment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain updated course curriculum and develop rubrics for determining student achievement.
• Teach a half- or full-time course load, with full-time faculty teaching a minimum of eight 3-hour courses per year.
• Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment, encouraging student participation and facilitating discussions.
• Provide timely student feedback and evaluation to support student success.
• Offer academic advising and support to students in their professional and academic development.
• Work collaboratively with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
• Participate in program governance committees, orientation, admissions interviews, and faculty meetings.
