About the position

The job overview for this position is that the Marketing Development Representatives at DevRev are responsible for expanding the company's customer base and building a revenue pipeline. They will use prospecting strategies to identify potential customers and initiate initial contact. The goal is to find early adopters who are experiencing challenges in how their companies engage with customers. MDR members are expected to provide feedback to the Product and Engineering teams and help refine the go-to-market scripts. They will also be responsible for scaling and leading the team, establishing processes for customer follow-up, and monitoring pipeline health.

Responsibilities

  • Scale and lead the team to expand outreach and nurture high-quality leads and move them to the Activated stage
  • Establish processes to relentlessly manage customer follow-up and monitor pipeline health through a team and data/metric first philosophy

Requirements

  • Experience in marketing development and expanding customer base
  • Ability to build a healthy revenue pipeline for the company
  • Proficient in prospecting strategies to identify potential customers
  • Skilled in initiating first outreach with prospects
  • Ability to refine high-quality prospects and target early adopters
  • Strong communication skills to provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams
  • Experience in scaling and leading a team to expand outreach
  • Ability to nurture high-quality leads and move them to the Activated stage
  • Proficient in establishing processes to manage customer follow-up and monitor pipeline health
  • Familiarity with data and metric-driven approach in managing pipeline health
