About the position
Discord is seeking a Group Product Marketing Manager to lead their Nitro Growth & Lifecycle PMM team. The role involves partnering with the Nitro product team to drive subscriber and revenue growth, aligning strategy and operationalizing processes for integrated go-to-market efforts, and leading partner marketing initiatives. The manager will also oversee the development and implementation of cross-channel CRM programs and be responsible for attracting and developing a team of growth and lifecycle marketers. The ideal candidate should excel in ambiguous environments, have extensive experience in growing and scaling consumer tech products globally, and possess expertise in using data to inform product development and user stories.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Nitro product team to influence product and business strategy to drive subscriber and revenue growth.
- Align strategy and operationalize process to drive integrated go-to-market across product, brand, and partnership teams.
- Lead Partner Marketing efforts, working with BD to develop internal and external partnerships that grow core user and business metrics.
- Lead a team of Lifecycle Marketers to oversee the ideation, development, and implementation of cross-channel CRM programs.
- Attract, manage and develop a team of accomplished growth and lifecycle marketers to scale Nitro.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience growing and scaling consumer tech products globally
- 4+ years experience managing growth product marketing teams, including direct experience on CRM / Lifecycle
- Expertise in using qualitative and quantitative data to build products and user stories
- Ability to guide cross-functional teams towards decisions and execution
- Excel in ambiguous environments - excited about finding solutions to complex issues
- Product development/management or product design experience (bonus)
- Experience with subscription products (bonus)
- Additional marketing experience in brand, media, or communications (bonus)
- Startup background (bonus)
- SQL knowledge (bonus)
