About The Position

The Group Leader Warehouse position at Graphic Packaging International involves overseeing the shipping department to ensure that products are processed according to customer specifications. Requirements

• Previous experience in the shipping/warehouse department.
• Trained and certified forklift operator.

Responsibilities

• Work with the shipping manager for the scheduling of shipping associates.
• Oversee the proper processing of product packaging and storage.
• Knowledge of proper loading procedures and ability to assist when needed.
• Maintain communication with shipping manager and production supervisors.
• Directly supervise/manage 2 - 4 associates in the shipping department.
• Plan, assign, and direct the work force in accordance with organizational policies.
• Ensure that all orders are billed and shipped correctly.
• Instruct department associates on their responsibilities regarding safety and quality.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.
