Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of an 'IT Tech Support Analyst Level 1' for Gold Dust West Elko. This property features a modern interior with the latest slot machines and table games including Blackjack, Craps, and 3-Card Poker. Across the parking lot is our 80-room Hampton Inn featuring Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, fitness center and a hot breakfast for all guests.

  • Support all JEI properties across Nevada
  • Work with users diplomatically and skillfully
  • Exercise judgement and decision making in the diagnosis and resolution of computer hardware and software problems
  • Perform full range of work assigned and work with some independence and initiative
  • Enforce IT policies as it relates to financial systems and take appropriate course of action
  • Install and maintain database hardware and software
  • Organize work, set priorities and meet critical time deadlines
  • Participate in team meetings, providing input and suggestions
  • Monitor systems to ensure compliance with company and governmental policies
  • Provide written documentation of all duties
  • Fluent in English
  • High school diploma and/or 4 year experience in IT
  • Competencies required: Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Laptop/Desktop, PC configurations
  • Two of the following or equivalent: CompTIA Network, CompTIA Security, CompTIA Server, ITIL or Equivalent, VMware or equivalent
  • Ability to multitask in demanding environments
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals
  • Working knowledge of Networking and TCP/IP
  • Working knowledge of Domain and Activity Directory Support
  • Proven ability to work with users diplomatically and skillfully
  • Requires State of Nevada Gaming license
  • Identification that establishes identity
