About the position

The Visa Digital Issuer Solutions Product Management team is seeking an outstanding Manager, Commercialization candidate with the vision, passion and commitment to drive Visa's global digital commercialization and go-to-market efforts. The Visa Digital Issuer Solutions Product Management team is responsible for global product strategy and execution of numerous digital banking, mobile and online-related initiatives such as the Visa Digital Enablement SDK, Visa Transaction Controls, Global Customer Assistance Services, Visa Travel Notifications and more. This role will meaningfully contribute to the commercialization activities of multiple products across our digital portfolio. Reporting into the Head of Commercialization for Digital Solutions team, this role sits at the intersection of multiple product, solutions, operations and commercialization organizations and functions requiring organizational savvy and strong interpersonal skills. In addition, this individual will be a thought leader in commercialization and business growth with a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines. The Global Product Commercialization Manager is responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution of product launches and market entry initiatives on a global scale. This person will focus on defining and driving commercial success across the product lifecycle for Visa Digital Issuer Solutions products. This will be accomplished through a strong understanding of internal partner, external partner and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and optimizes commercial activities across our Digital product portfolio.
  • Build and grow strategic partnerships with internal and external partners and clients.
  • Accountable for the development of GTM approaches, pricing, sales collateral, and other sales enablement artifacts.
  • Develop appropriate product constructs and articulable value propositions and success metrics through insights from market trends, competition and customer needs.
  • Influence the market by creating and publishing product blogs, white papers, webinars and other client or market-facing materials.
  • Drive research to identify market, customer and end user needs to influence a roadmap that leads to commercial success.
  • Socialize products with regional product, legal and sales to influence prioritization of new products or enhancements to existing services.
  • Define product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies tailored to regional markets.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • 5+ years of product management, commercialization or project management experience.
  • Experience in mobile/digital banking, FinTech, payments and/or financial services industry is a strong plus.
  • Comfort with high-level, strategic thinking, including willingness to be an active and outspoken participant in decision-making.
  • Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills are required.
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams around the world and across different time zones.
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving with ability to collaborate and build consensus across stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation and decision-making skills along with a global, customer-oriented mindset required.

Nice-to-haves

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
  • Knowledge and experience with partner management to foster effective relationships that result in open communication from the partner is a strong plus.
