About The Position

As the General Manager of Jasmine Cantonese Fine Dining Restaurant at Bellagio, you will lead the restaurant's operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and financial performance. Your role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and collaborating with the culinary team to maintain high service standards while upholding the MGM Resorts brand.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a full-service, fine dining restaurant with a focus on Asian cuisine.
• Fluency in the Chinese language.
• Proficiency with computer programs such as Coupa, SevenRooms, InfoGensis, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement.
• Extensive knowledge of beverages and wines.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar resort or casino environment.
• Culinary experience, particularly in Chinese cuisine.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including labor productivity, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Drive operational excellence and financial performance of the restaurant.
• Ensure consistent service standards and exceptional guest experiences.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef on the restaurant's business plan and marketing strategies.
• Manage human resources responsibilities, including hiring, training, and succession planning.
• Maintain health, sanitation, and cleanliness standards within the restaurant.
• Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any complaints.
• Manage guest feedback channels and implement improvements.
