About The Position

The position involves operating all equipment necessary for food preparation and delivery. Responsibilities include stocking ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, as well as the walk-in cooler. The role requires preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and completing associated paperwork. Daily cleaning of equipment and the facility is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with the option to use a calculator.
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Good motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment related to food preparation and delivery.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products for delivery.
• Receive and process telephone orders from customers.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis.
• Deliver products by car to customers' doors.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers as part of promotional efforts.
• Navigate delivery routes using maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying products.
