About The Position

The General Maintenance Technician II at Canyon Ranch is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the facility. This mid-level position requires a working knowledge of commercial electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, and HVAC systems. The technician will work independently to maintain and repair various structures and systems within the facility, contributing to the overall guest experience by ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a commercial maintenance setting.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, tiling, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, heating, cooling, roofing, and painting.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform or learn pool and spa care and gym equipment maintenance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in general maintenance for 1-2 years is preferred.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair doors, cabinetry, and millwork.
• Maintain pools and surrounding areas.
• Maintain lighting through frequent bulb replacement and occasional fixture or ballast replacement.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including painting and roofing.
