Duquesne University School of Nursing (SON) is a widely recognized pioneer in nursing education, having created Pennsylvania's first BSN program in 1937 and the nation's first online nursing PhD program in 1997. Today, our school is endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation (AHNCC), and our graduate programs have been ranked nationally by US News & World Report. Our nursing faculty is dedicated to creating an educational environment grounded in the practice of ethical, holistic, and culturally competent and congruent care for vulnerable populations. Due to unprecedented growth, the SON is currently seeking one Full-Time faculty for a 9-month, tenure track position at any rank (assistant professor, associate professor or professor) starting August 2025. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across multiple levels of the curriculum and engage in collaborative scholarship and research.
