About the position
Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to support the development and maintenance of a cloud-based platform for cyber operations in the Department of Defense. The successful candidate will coordinate and integrate work across legacy platforms, enhance and develop new applications, and modernize capabilities through an agile process. They should have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end interactions and be able to build complete applications. This is a primarily remote position with on-site support in San Antonio, TX.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and integrate work across legacy platforms
- Provide support to enhance and develop new applications, analytics, and services
- Modernize capabilities through an agile, evolving requirement identification and prioritization process
- Understand the interactions between front and back end and can put together an entire application
- Provide primarily remote support with as-needed on-site support two days a week in San Antonio, TX
- Obtain Authorization to Operate (ATO) for an application or system
- Use modern software development languages and frameworks such as Java, Kotlin, Python, Spring Boot, Django, React, and/or Vue
- Convey complex ideas through conversation, briefings, and writing with clear, concise language
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT Security, Information Systems, or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience as Software or Systems Engineers
- A minimum of 4 years specifically as an Architect
- Previous experience developing software in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of ICD 503 and RMF with previous experience getting Authorization to Operate (ATO) for an application or system
- Experience using modern software development languages and frameworks to include Java, Kotlin, Python, Spring Boot, Django, React, and/or Vue
- Ability to convey complex ideas through conversation, briefings, and writing with clear, concise language
