About the position
NT Concepts is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team and support the Department of Defense's Chief Digital and AI Office. The role involves developing a testing program of record to address key testing and evaluation gaps in AI system performance, cybersecurity, adversarial resilience, and explainability. The position requires proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and other programming languages, as well as experience with front-end frameworks and back-end runtimes. The ideal candidate should also have knowledge of modern software architectures and be familiar with DoD policy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications using Python, JavaScript, and other programming languages
- Work with front-end frameworks and back-end runtimes
- Follow Agile software development methodology
- Stay well versed in modern software architectures
- Comply with DoD policy as it pertains to risk-managed access to data, active collaboration in the industry/academic/government data and AI communities, and efficient acquisitions and procurement strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of software development experience, specifically with full-stack engineering
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and at least one more programming language (Java is a plus)
- Experience with front-end frameworks and back-end runtimes
- Prior experience working with Agile software development methodology
- Proficiency in modern software architectures
- Experience in the Defense sector (preferred)
- Familiarity with DoD policy (preferred)
- Java programming language experience (preferred)
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times
