Full-Stack Engineer

Our team is seeking full-stack engineers to join us in building fast, scalable, and effective applications that connect job seekers with their next great opportunity. As part of a growing distributed system, we work on mobile-first web applications and prioritize creating fast and intuitive experiences. With a focus on architectural and design decisions, we are building an efficient microservices distributed architecture and driving innovation and evolution within ZipRecruiter. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience as a full-stack engineer, strong communication skills, and deep knowledge of frontend ecosystems and available frameworks for Single Page Applications.

- Design and implement new features with the Product Team - Play a key role in architectural and design decisions, building towards an efficient microservices distributed architecture - Participate in the deployment of various cloud-based technologies needed to implement projects - Help drive the innovation and evolution of ZipRecruiter - Break tasks down into descriptive steps and communicate progress effectively with various stakeholders - Have experience with a strongly typed backend focused language (TS Node, GO, java), or a strong desire to pick them up quickly - Have deep knowledge of the frontend ecosystems and available frameworks for Single Page Applications - Understand how an application makes it to production and have the ability to debug and speak about it

- 6+ years experience as a full-stack engineer - Ability to break tasks down into descriptive steps, and communicate progress effectively with various stakeholders - Experience with a strongly typed backend focused language (TS Node, GO, java), or a strong desire to pick them up quickly - Deep knowledge of the frontend ecosystems and available frameworks for Single Page Applications, we expect you to be able to speak to the details of your preferred framework - Knowledge or experience of how an application makes it to production, and the ability to debug and speak
