Full-Stack Developer (PHP) - Customer Portal

The job overview for this role is that it is a Full-Stack Developer position focused on PHP development for the Customer Portal of Leaseweb and other organizations within the Ocom group. The role involves designing, constructing, and supporting systems written in PHP, as well as working in an Agile self-organized team. The responsibilities range from simple maintenance to complex tasks in innovative R&D projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of software development experience, proficiency in API development and PHP frameworks, and knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and version control systems.

• Analyzing requirements and designs, developing and maintaining products and services
• Modifying existing software products to add new functions, adapt to new hardware, improve performance or enhance product usability
• Giving assistance to non-technical colleagues and collaborating with different departments
• Identifying and proposing solutions for improvements or structural problems
• Regular on-call duty

• At least 3 years experience with software development
• Experience with API Development (REST)
• Experience with PHP Object Orientated Programming and frameworks (preferably Symfony)
• Experience with Linux-based operating systems such as Ubuntu
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of Angular (12+) and testing frameworks like Karma is desirable
• Experience with Agile development methods such as scrum is a nice to have
• Strength in problem analysis and conceptual thinking
• Driven to improve quality and prevent incidents
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines
