About The Position

Requirements

  • Must be a current Trident Seafoods employee or have worked for Trident Seafoods before.
  • Has worked in a Key I position in a Trident location in the past year.
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write and speak basic English.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Ability to accurately conduct cash transactions using American money.

Responsibilities

  • Takes inventory or examines merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
  • Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise, checking invoice against items received.
  • Dispense fuel to vessels, vehicles, plant operations through various means.
  • Maintain all records related to the dispensing/selling of fuel.
  • Manages the daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of fuel sold and/or allocated.
  • Works with plant staff to ensure equipment is functional and operational.
  • In some locations, may be responsible for writing up invoices for fuel sales to vessels, reconciling sales with fuel stores at the end of their shift and submitting report for balancing out invoices and sales of fuel sold.
