Front-End Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled software architect with expertise in JavaScript front-end programming to join our team at Habu. As the owner of Habu's JavaScript infrastructure and services, you will be responsible for designing and developing the web application front-end architecture and components. Your role will also involve ensuring application stability, security, and responsiveness. With a focus on maintaining quality and implementing web application security standards, you will collaborate with the engineering team to design and launch new features. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of professional experience in JavaScript, ReactJS, and Redux, along with proficiency in advanced JavaScript concepts and experience with cloud APIs and platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Develop front-end application architecture
• Understand and implement web application security standards
• Maintain quality and ensure the responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features

• 6+ years of professional experience
• Strong JavaScript, ReactJS, and Redux experience
• Proficiency in automated unit and integration tests
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience with frontend libraries like React and Redux
• Proficiency in advanced JavaScript (ES6 / Typescript) concepts
• Knowledge of back-end programming languages like Python, Go, and/or Java/Scala
• Experience with cloud APIs and working with AWS, GCP, or Azure
