About The Position

The FP&A Analyst will support key financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data visualization. This role will work to create meaningful insights for the business and contribute to strategic decision-making. A strong focus will be placed on leveraging Power BI for reporting and data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, nested functions, etc.).
• Familiarity with financial planning software such as Adaptive by Workday or similar tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively across teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in private equity, consulting, or investment banking environments.
• Exposure to financial reporting and data visualization tools.
• Relevant certifications such as CFA, CPA, or progress towards them.
• Experience using Adaptive Planning

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating the annual budgeting process, ensuring timely and accurate data collection and analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and forecasting activities.
• Analyze budget, actual, and forecast variances, identifying key drivers and trends to share with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the FP&A team to prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, utilizing Power BI to create dashboards and data visualizations.
• Support the consolidation and analysis of financial and operational data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making for senior leadership.
• Assist in identifying and implementing process and system improvements to enhance FP&A efficiency and effectiveness.
