  • Complete daily forklift inspection reports and submit them to the Supervisor/Lead, immediately notifying them of any concerns or issues with the forklift during the shift.
  • Perform daily duties with care, as directed by the Supervisor/Lead, within the time allocated by company standards.
  • Use scanning equipment to properly report the movement of products or materials in SAP.
  • Safely transport materials/products throughout the manufacturing area.
  • Report any questionable conditions or product discrepancies to the Supervisor/Lead promptly.
  • Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter.
  • Keep track of company tools and equipment.
  • Observe and respond to forklift malfunction warnings and alarm signals.
  • Notify the Supervisor of any unsafe equipment or driving conditions and refrain from operating unsafe forklifts or driving through spills/water.
  • Accurately count material and scrap quantities, reporting them as required.
  • Understand and comply with the forklift’s carrying capacity, lift capacity, and the load weight being transported.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following procedures, rules, and hygiene regulations.
  • Assist in sweeping floors and cleaning the production area when needed.
  • Conduct all work-related activities fairly, ethically, and consistently.
  • Be a productive, proactive, and contributing team member in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adhere to safety standards and company policies, including attending mandatory safety training and sounding alarms when operating a forklift.
  • Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
  • Participate in lean events as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Inform the Supervisor/Lead of any oil leaks and handle proper clean-up of spills immediately.
