Responsibilities

• Assist with forest maintenance, fire management, and recreation tasks.
• Clean, maintain, paint, and repair forest facilities.
• Operate and maintain necessary tools and equipment.
• Complete safety checks and inspections before use.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance, pre and post inspection, cleaning, and minor repairs on hand tools, power tools, motorized equipment, and vehicles as directed.

Requirements

• One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
• Must meet the PA residency requirement.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.

• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch.
