About The Position

The Practice Manager is responsible for managing, overseeing and ensuring the successful administrative, financial and operational aspects of multiple sites while mentoring and training other supervisors and staff. Essentially, a Practice Manager is accountable for delivering an inviting and hospitable environment where the patient feels appreciated, comfortable, and at ease. The role includes providing an exceptional experience where the patient will want to come back and refer their family and friends to the site for all their urgent care needs, as well as exceptional collaboration with the team to support the company's mission. The Practice Manager will also provide outstanding mentorship and training to newly hired site staff.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of management experience in urgent care, medical practice, or hospital with multiple-site responsibility preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or other applicable degree preferred.
  • Exceptional patient/customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent leadership qualities and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Site Management: Scheduling the supervisors, front desk, scribes, medical assistants, and x-ray technologists for the site.
  • Coordinating and ensuring the cleanliness, appearance, orderliness, and safety of site environment.
  • Understanding patient visit metrics and managing patient flow.
  • Managing openings and closings for all sites within the Manager's scope of responsibility.
  • Interacting with vendors, sales representatives, and other visitors to the site.
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with policy and HIPAA requirements.
  • Monitoring the site expense budget and keeping purchases/expenditures within PNL guidelines.
  • Analyzing and reporting on various business metrics.
  • Managing, monitoring, coaching, developing and evaluating performance of all staff.
  • Building strong communication and partnerships with clinicians and regional medical leadership.
  • Implementing and monitoring the CityMD culture.
  • Collaborating with the HR team to formalize development plans for staff.
