The Integrated Events Team at Cvent provides end-to-end project management services with emphasis on enterprise grade service delivery. As a Financial Force Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing key financial processes throughout the lifecycle of various event projects and contracts. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring polished financial operations, timely contract approvals, and accurate budget management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis within project-based environments, preferably in event services.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and tools, such as budget creation, scope amendments, and invoice approvals.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strategic understanding of the business a plus.
  • Proficient in Financial Force, iReceivables, and other financial management software.
  • Experience with helpdesk systems and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Wrike, MS Office Suite, Slack) a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and manage various financial responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage financials throughout the lifecycle of event projects, including initial budget creation, amendments, and scope adjustments.
  • Ensure all timecards and expense reports are accurate, manage incoming costs, monitor invoice approvals, process billed as actuals, and handle inquiries via iReceivables.
  • Confirm assignments for core team members, allocate planned hours, manage project costs, and track project profitability.
  • Act as a liaison or intermediary between the Integrated Events Team, operations, and sales to understand terms sold in a Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Maintain and create detailed team and project status reports, document financial and resource concerns, and provide comprehensive on-going reports to stakeholders.
