About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee all financial aspects of the organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role within finance or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and GAAP principles.
• Experience with SOX compliance is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in financial report writing with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero is preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation processes to maintain financial integrity.
• Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management.
• Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
• Utilize QuickBooks or Xero for efficient financial management and reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.
• Lead the budgeting process and monitor variances against budgeted performance.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
