About The Position

The Finance Warehouse Clerk is responsible for receiving and inspecting merchandise from vendors, ensuring proper distribution to departments, and maintaining records of receiving documents and requests for merchandise. This position requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols while managing inventory in a secure storage area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months to one year of inventory experience preferred.
• Valid California Driver's license.
• Food Handler's certification preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift objects of at least 50 lbs. regularly.

Responsibilities

• Receives merchandise from vendors and inspects for damage, quality standards, and accuracy of order.
• Dates all incoming orders and notifies the department of receipt.
• Receives and posts food and beverage invoices.
• Maintains merchandise in a safe environment until picked up by the appropriate department.
• Maintains records of Food and Beverage receipts and other relevant forms.
• Provides accurate storage and log of all items in the warehouse.
• Ensures correct use of all safety equipment and procedures in the warehouse.
• Knowledge of inventory and recommends acquisitions at required levels.
• Responds professionally to vendors, delivery persons, and department supervisory staff.
• Performs data entry of purchase order receipts.
• Issues company uniforms.
• Follows prescribed methods of inventory controls.
• Adheres to personnel and department policies and procedures.
