About the position
PDT Partners is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Analyst to join their Finance rotational program. This program offers the opportunity to gain exposure to various groups within the Finance umbrella of a global hedge fund. The Analyst will participate in a two-year rotation through different teams, with the goal of providing a comprehensive understanding of PDT's operations. The program also includes ongoing training and the chance to contribute to improving existing workflows. This role is ideal for individuals interested in a long-term career in finance, with a focus on business topics and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill day-to-day and long-term responsibilities in the different rotational areas
- Demonstrate a firm grasp of both training and business concepts
- Become an independent individual contributor by the end of the tenure with each team
- Work closely with senior leaders on firmwide, cross-functional projects
Requirements
- Entry-level to 2 years of relevant work experience
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
- Willingness to dive deeply into different groups under the Finance umbrella
- Ongoing training in business topics and professional development
- Rotating through four different groups within the Finance organization
- Ability to improve existing workflows within assigned team
- Fulfill day-to-day and long-term responsibilities in rotational areas
- Firm grasp of both training and business concepts
- Ability to become an independent individual contributor
- Work closely with senior leaders on firmwide, cross-functional projects
