About the position
As a Finance Operations Specialist (f/m/d), you will be responsible for handling finance-related queries from customers and suppliers, managing payment operations, and improving payment and billing procedures. Your role will involve actively resolving international billing and payment issues, researching payment trends, collaborating with product teams and other departments, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and contributing to strategic financial initiatives. With your expertise, you will make a significant impact on financial transactions and processes, driving organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Actively support the resolution of supplier and customer requests concerning international billing and payment topics
- Manage customer and supplier payments using third-party tools
- Master the day-to-day management of the payment operations, including reconciliation, monthly closing report preparation, Pay-Ins & Pay-Outs
- Research latest trends in payments and build close relationships with external providers to improve existing processes and operational workflows
- Closely collaborate with product teams and other departments to identify and collect requirements to improve existing processes
- Develop and lead training sessions around payments and billing for internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies in all payment and billing processes
- Contribute to the development of strategic financial initiatives to drive organizational growth
Requirements
- Graduate of Business Administration, Economics, or any relevant related field with at least 3+ years of relevant job experience
- Experienced with MS Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of CS tools like Salesforce and SQL is a plus
- Strong numerical skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Team player with an interest in growing in the field of finance operations
