About The Position

Join us as a Finance Manager and drive the financial success of our Food Service Business Unit! You'll be part of the go-to financial advisor team, crafting plans that align with our strategic goals and boosting profitability. As the primary financial advisor, you will offer strategic guidance on financial performance, opportunities & risks, and investments. You will develop and present financial plans and forecasts, analyze key data to support investment decisions, and develop ROI analyses for capital projects, including new product launches and capacity expansions. You will work closely with various teams to ensure pricing decisions and promotional programs are financially sound and contribute to P&L performance. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional projects and contribute to strategic initiatives, ensuring new business opportunities are financially beneficial and consistent with the BU's strategy. Staying informed on industry trends and collaborating with various teams will be key to your success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field of study.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, brand finance, marketing finance, or related role.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a strategic partner to senior leadership.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills to translate complex financial information into understandable insights.
  • Project management skills to lead cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to assess complex business challenges.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree or MBA with a focus on finance, strategy, or business management.
  • Industry-specific experience in CPG or Retail Packaging industry.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary financial advisor, offering strategic guidance on financial performance, opportunities & risks, and investments.
  • Develop and present financial plans and forecasts.
  • Analyze key data to support investment decisions.
  • Develop ROI analyses for capital projects, including new product launches and capacity expansions.
  • Work closely with Pricing, Product Line Management, Account Management, Trade, and Sales teams to ensure pricing decisions and promotional programs are financially sound.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and contribute to strategic initiatives and portfolio optimization.
  • Review new business opportunities to ensure they are financially beneficial and consistent with the BU's strategy.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
  • Collaborate with Power BI, Accounting, Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure consistency of data across the company.
