About The Position

The Finance Manager - Shared Services is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of shared services ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service excellence. This role involves optimizing processes, implementing best practices, and leading a team to support business operations effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing centralized finance services such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash application, billing and client onboarding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 6 - 8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with previous managerial experience.
• Proficient in using office software and tools, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

• CPA or other relevant certification.
• Experience at a professional services firm or shared services department.
• Master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement shared services strategies that align with business goals and enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of shared services finance teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Lead process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to assess efficiency and effectiveness.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships by serving as the primary point of contact for internal customers.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement and innovation within shared services.
• Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and corporate policies and regulations.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial controls within the shared services function.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing shared services team.
