Finance & BizOps Lead

We are seeking a Finance and Business Operations Lead who will be responsible for strategic finance, business operations, HR, and analytics. This role involves owning budgets and financial models, negotiating deals, managing office leases, reviewing legal documents, and streamlining operations across various departments. The ideal candidate should thrive in an ambiguous startup environment and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Own budgets and business financial models and forecasts reported to the board
• Work alongside an external accounting team to prepare monthly financials
• Negotiate deals with infrastructure providers and SaaS vendors to drive costs down
• Manage office lease or future office lease
• Review legal documents with lawyers
• Build new processes around sales, marketing, engineering, IT, and other departments to streamline operations
• Create comp bands and comp planning in sales
• Handle terminations/severance/exit interviews
• Understand policies across the board with JustWorks, Deel, and other HR tools
• Analyze data on custom

• Strong experience in strategic finance, including owning budgets and financial models
• Ability to prepare monthly financials and work with external accounting teams
• Negotiation skills to drive down costs with infrastructure providers and SaaS vendors
• Proficiency in business operations, including managing office leases and reviewing legal documents
• Knowledge of building processes to streamline operations in various departments
• Familiarity with HR tasks such as creating compensation bands, comp planning, handling terminations, and understanding HR policies
• Experience with HR tools like JustWorks and Deel
• Analytical skills to analyze data on custom
