About The Position

The Field Service Supervisor at Hepaco, a Clean Harbors company, is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and coordinating the daily operations of the service line crew. This role emphasizes ensuring the proper operation of equipment, driving operational efficiencies at work sites, and maintaining accurate documentation related to job activities. The supervisor plays a critical role in upholding health and safety standards while managing a team in the environmental services sector.

Requirements

  • Experience in environmental field service operations, construction, manufacturing, or similar industries.
  • Ability to travel overnight and be on-call for emergency response situations.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to pull a trailer via pick-up truck preferred.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods.
  • Experience in industrial emergency response and Hazmat clean-up is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, organize, and coordinate daily operations of the service line crew.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance by adhering to safe work practices and policies.
  • Read work orders and ensure all required equipment is available and operational before starting jobs.
  • Inspect equipment and work areas prior to job commencement.
  • Correct deficiencies that may cause accidents or harm to equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, including service receipts, and submit to management.
  • Train Technicians I and II in equipment operation and service line processes.
  • Operate necessary equipment in accordance with training and safety procedures.
  • Manually clean, install, fit, and repair various equipment components.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in cleaning areas.
  • Lead safety meetings and ensure adherence to safety policies.
  • Meet progress deadlines and efficiently utilize resources.
  • Instruct and provide feedback to crew members on job performance.
  • Enforce company policies and manage employee conduct on-site.
  • Follow all compliance regulations and safely operate vehicles.
