About the position
The Too Good To Go team is looking for a Field Sales Specialist to join their mission of fighting food waste. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tackling food waste and a commercial mindset with sales experience. As a Field Sales Specialist, the candidate will be responsible for convincing local food-related businesses to join the Too Good To Go app and save food from being wasted. The role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to close deals. The candidate will work closely with the sales team and report directly to the Team Lead Sales.
Responsibilities
- Use commercial and enthusiastic mindset to convince potential local businesses to join the Too Good To Go movement
- Work closely with sales colleagues in other regions and report directly to the Team Lead Sales
- Be part of a team of over 1100 Food Heroes worldwide to achieve the ambitious mission of reducing food waste
- Visit food-related businesses to pitch the Too Good To Go concept and increase the number of Magic Boxes offered on the app
- Have a strong understanding and passion for tackling food waste
- Have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable approaching people face-to-face
- Have sales experience and enjoy achieving results and closing deals
- Be empathetic but also goal-oriented in conversations with potential partners
- Be comfortable with continuous development and change in a fast-growing organization

Requirements
- You have a commercial mindset and preferably have sales experience.
- You have strong communication skills and feel comfortable approaching people face-to-face.
- You enjoy going out and pitching our concept to potential partners.
- You have an affinity for food retail.
- You are empathetic but also goal-oriented in conversations.
- You enjoy achieving results and closing deals.
- You want to learn and improve your commercial and sales skills.
- You enjoy working in a fast-growing organization where everything is constantly developing and changing.
- You are able to work part-time or full-time.
- You are willing to travel within your region.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
- You are passionate about tackling food waste and making a positive impact on the environment.
