About the position

The WTI Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) oversees and performs the safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI field service business. Safety is our primary priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting, and project. As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the Foreman is focused on safety, crew management, and efficient execution of all WTI projects assigned within their respective region. It is the Foreman's responsibility to deliver timely service to all WTI customers and manage exposure to risks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct the daily onsite safety brief before the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer, and the WTI crew.
  • Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment, and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns.
  • Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to the Supervisors as applicable.
  • Ensure all project communication is completed before the start of any WTI project.
  • Efficient management of projects including managing the crew's start and end times, daily productivity, and ensuring tools and materials are available.
  • Complete the project per the approved scope of work or specification and after issuance by the Supervisor.
  • Complete an end-of-day and/or end-of-project walk-through to ensure the quality of workmanship.
  • Ensure all WTI Field Resources Reps have a professional appearance and customer interaction.
  • Responsible for ordering, tracking, and monitoring inventory and ensuring quarterly cycle counts are completed.
  • Provide pricing for self-performing projects over $12,500.
  • Submit all proposals of over $20,000 to the Supervisor for review and approval.
  • Monitor and manage the Field Reps and consult with the Supervisor to resolve employee work-related issues.
  • Coordinate with the Supervisor to create project schedules.
  • Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team.
  • Attend all appropriate calls, meetings, and trainings.
  • Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the Supervisor or Regional Business Manager.

Requirements

  • 30-hour OSHA certification.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the roofing industry.
  • Thorough familiarity with built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems, as well as metal and other steep-slope roofing systems.
  • Ability to travel out of town, including overnight stays.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or holidays when needed.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Registered Roof Observer (RRO) is preferred but not required.
